This workshop is for writers of all ages and at all stages, to inject some creativity into your ideas and projects. Based on the premise that creative exercises and creative thinking can unleash fresh ideas and innovative approaches, it uses individual and group writing tasks to spark new ideas and inspire new stories. Leave the workshop armed with powerful tools to carry forward in your writing careers and projects.
Craig Batty has published over 70 books, book chapters, journal articles and creative research works, all on the topics of creative writing and screenwriting. He is an expert teacher and mentor, with experiences teaching creative writing in community, school and university settings. He is currently Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Technology Sydney, and is a close friend to CQU Noosa.
Dr Liz Ellison teaches the Graduate Certificate of Creative & Professional Practice at CQUniversity Noosa campus. She has a varied history in the creative arts, including creative writing, theatre, and film. Liz publishes about Australian popular culture, including the forthcoming edited book collection Writing the Australian Beach: local site, global idea (Palgrave Macmillan).
