Australia’s Newest, Quickest and Fastest Dragway presents The Ultimate Club Day 2!

Open to all car clubs and members to spend a day at the Dragway running down the ¼ mile and having some fun. See who has the fastest speed as part of our brand new product we are calling – The Ultimate Speed Challenge.

Here is how it works:

1.       Rolling start with take of speed measured between guard beam and the 60 foot beam. Your speed between these points can’t be faster than 50 KPH. If you travel faster than 60 KPH through that trap your run will be disqualified( Like red lighting in a drag race)
2.       Once past the 60 ft beam you go flat to the floor and run as fast as you can though the finish line.
3.       The winner is determined by the fastest speed. You will receive a time slip that gives you all the speeds your vehicle travelled from start to 330ft, 660ft, 1000ft and 1320ft

This is as much fun as you can have with your clothes on!

No stress on vehicles as its not from a standing start and gives you a chance to see how fast your car will go in a safe legal environment.

The Deal: single club or join with other clubs to make the numbers up

Entries:  minimum 70 to 80 vehicles required.

Spectating: No cost to just come and watch

Cost: $100+ booking fee per vehicle includes Day license, Personal accident insurance. Passengers can ride in the vehicle.

Vehicle/driver requirements: Open to all road registered cars, pass basic vehicle safety check on the day. Driver will require an in date approved helmet, long sleeves, long pants, enclosed shoes. Passenger will require the same.

Vehicle safety check and sign in: 9am – 11am

Session 1: 11am – 1pm !/4 mile Drag Racing

Lunch: 1pm – 2pm

Session 2: 2pm – 4pm Ultimate Speed Challenge

Prizes: DYO Drag Racing Challenge, Ultimate Speed Challenge
