The Social Innovation Workshop is a collaborative social innovation immersive for CQUniversity students, facilitated by CQUni’s Office of Social Innovation.

Held over three days at CQUniversity Brisbane, the experience will partner student participants with Queensland disability support not-for-profit Multicap, to tackle real-life challenges the organisation is facing around future employment opportunities for its clients.

Supported by social innovation experts, the students will use a Human-Centred Design approach to explore the challenges, then design and present their concept solutions back to Multicap representatives.

The Workshop is inspired by CQUniversity’s successful Social Innovation Studio run in Gladstone since 2015, and gives students opportunities to gain practical skills for problem-solving and social enterprise design, and to network with community social innovators.

Over the three days workshop participants will be provided lunch and refreshments, learning materials, and a site visit to Multicap. Secure your place at the Workshop with a $25 refundable deposit. Upon successful completion of the workshop your deposit will be fully refunded or you can choose to donate the amount to Multicap.

All students will also receive a certificate on completion.
