Join Gay4Play for our monthly adventures exploring the waterways and hidden river systems that are in abundance in this beautiful city we call home. We have long and short paddles, limited single kayaks as well as doubles with the same fun and games we always have.

Next stop on the calendar is Hunters Hill (Short Paddle). Great start for our beginners.

We will be meeting at the car park at Manns Point, boat ramp, which is located at the end of Manns Place (not Manns Ave). Manns Pl is a very small (looks like a driveway) road that runs of O’Connell St at the bottom end of Greenwich Point, Manns Point. There are all day parking and toilet facilities on site.

After the introduction and safety briefing, we will be leaving from the boat ramp to explore the bays and coves along the shoreline of Greenwich, Longueville and Hunters Hill, that forms the mouth of the Lane Cove River. Although being on the harbour the paddle offers an easy paddle with spectacular views of the city and well away of the shipping lanes.

We will be having a coffee break at the Deckhouse on Clarkes Point Reserve, before circumnavigating Cockatoo Island and heading back.

After getting back we will fire up the BBQ and have a casual lunch with post paddle beers. Each month we like to change it up between burgers, schitzels, suasage sizzles and the like. Any other dietary requirements can be taken care of. Just note it when you book your ticket.

**PLEASE NOTE: This is an event that has a number of complications including changing weather, peoples level of fitness and traffic changes. We try to stay as on time as possible but we may leave a little late or get back a little later. Our time frames can not be hard and fast so please allow extra time when booking.
