Join Gay4Play for our monthly adventures exploring the waterways and hidden river systems that are in abundance in this beautiful city we call home. We have long and short paddles, limited single kayaks as well as doubles with the same fun and games we always have.

Next stop on the calendar is Hacking River.

Hacking River is one of the prime waterways to explore, as it winds its way up into the Royal National Park. You can paddle as far up as the weir at Audley and pull in for a welcome break.

We will be meeting at 9am at the Shallow Rock Boat Ramp, Grays Point (not greys). You access the ramp via Shallow Rock Drive, follow it all the way to the end, you can’t miss it. From there we will launch from the small beach before paddle east to check out Danger Point.  From here we will double back and then head up stream to Audley (approximately 4 km). Just before the weir that prevents us from going any further, there is a landing spot where we can break for morning tea.  From here it is down stream and back to Shallow Rock Reserve.

MESSAGE US DIRECTLY IF YOU NEED TRANSPORT AND WE WILL HELP GET YOU THERE.

After getting back we will fire up the BBQ and have a casual lunch with post paddle beers. Each month we like to change it up between burgers, schitzels, sausage sizzles and the like. Any other dietary requirements can be taken care of. Just note it when you book your ticket.

**PLEASE NOTE: This is an event that has a number of complications including changing weather, peoples level of fitness and traffic changes. We try to stay as on time as possible but we may leave a little late or get back a little later. Our time frames can not be hard and fast so please allow extra time when booking.
