INTERNATIONAL CONCERT ARTIST COMPETITION
1st round: Online, due by July 31st.
2nd round: Live in front of a panel. Thursday morning, Sept 19, 2019
3rd round: Final on Sunday Sept 22, 2019
1st round: Online round
Provide a Google Drive link in the application form which gives access to unedited .mp3 recordings of the following works (please check google drive privacy and sharing settings so we can access these files):
- Gigue from 2nd Lute Suite, BWV 997 by J. S. Bach.
- Free Choice piece(s), maximum length 6 minutes
You will aso be judged on the audio quality of the recordings, so please ensure this is of a high standard.
2nd round: Live panel
Set works:
- Vivo Energico, 4th Movement from Sonata for solo guitar, ‘Omaggio a Boccherini’ Op. 77 by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco.
- Free Choice piece(s), maximum length 6 minutes
3rd round: Live concert (open to public)
Entirely free choice. May repeat pieces from previous rounds if desired. 15min music time limit (not including tuning etc).
