He has a resemblance to Johnny and a voice to match, giving justice to the depth of vocals of the great Johnny Cash. Canadian born Dail Platz is an international artist with a unique background. He performed in the true Honky Tonks and bars of North America for many years before making the move to Australia.

As a multi-instrumentalist, Dail is at home on Electric and Acoustic Guitar, Fiddle, Mandolin and Banjo to name a few. What is unique to this show is the faithful re-production of Cash's great songs and the authentic Johnny Cash sound.

Johnny Cash began his recording career in 1955. He recorded nearly 1500 songs over an amazing 470 albums. A quick review of his career shows he was not merely a successful country artist, but that he is also one of the most successful artists in popular music having put 48 singles on the billboard Hot 100 pop charts which is one more than the Rolling Stones. He placed 26 albums on the pop charts between 1955 and 1972, the same number as the Beatles during that span. He is one of the few people in history to sell more than 50 million records.

Dallas Southam – Electric Guitar and Pedal Steel Guitar – Words can't describe adequately the sound that his fingers produce!  A great player that is appreciated not only by audiences but especially by his fellow musicians.

Laurie Keating - Drums – Laurie reproduces the original  “Steady Like A Train”  sound, that gave Cash his famous beat.

Dail also adds a few other characters to the mix.

Johnny Horton: The Johnny Horton segment is sure to get everyone all revved up.  Dail’s banjo skills always gets them clapping and singing along to hits like "North To Alaska", "Whispering Pines", "Battle Of New Orleans" & "Dueling Banjos"

Charlie Daniels: Dail is recognised as one of Australia's top fiddle players and for his rendition of  'The Devil Went Down to Georgia'.

Willie Nelson: A highlight of every Show is Dail's impersonation, both vocally and instrumentally, of the legendary Willie Nelson.  Many comments from audiences have been that it is the best Willie Nelson impersonation they have ever heard.

Don't miss this incredible two hour tribute.

All tickets are general admission.

Show starts at 8pm (doors 7.30pm)
