Bring the whole family along to the Fraternity Club for a free night under the stars watching vintage Italian classics on the big screen. We are transforming our bowling green to an outdoor cinema and showing your favourite Italian movies from the 60s & 70s on Friday 24th January & Saturday 25th January. 

What to Bring:

• Something comfortable to sit on eg picnic rugs, bean bags, seats, pillows. Just be aware that taller chairs will be restricted to the back of the grounds so that everyone can see the screen
• Insect repellent to keep those mozzies away
• Some additional layers as it may get colder as the night progresses

Doors open 6pm. Movie starts at last light, approx 8.30pm. Enjoy the ambiance of the night with dinner and live music from 6pm.

Marriage Italian Style (Italian: Matrimonio all'italiana) is a 1964 Italian film directed by Vittorio De Sica and starring Sophia Loren, Marcello Mastroianni and Vito Moricone. When handsome, successful Domenico (Marcello Mastroianni) first meets the sexy young waif Filomena (Sophia Loren) in Naples during World War II, he is instantly smitten. Flash forward to the postwar years, and the two meet again, sparking a passionate affair that spans two decades. But when Filomena, who has now become Domenico's kept woman and has secretly borne his children, learns that her lover is planning to wed another, she stops at nothing to hook him into marrying her instead.
