Join Gay4Play for our monthly adventures exploring the waterways and hidden river systems that are in abundance in this beautiful city we call home. We have long and short paddles, limited single kayaks as well as doubles with the same fun and games we always have.
Next stop on the calendar is Wallacia, Upper Nepean River Paddle (Short Paddle). Great start for our beginners.

The Nepean River begins in the Grose Valley in the foothills of the Blue Mountains and snakes its way across to the north of Sydney, eventually spilling into the sea as the Hawkesbury Rivers, 120kms later. The Wallacia paddle will explore a little paddled stretch of the Nepean not far from its source. Meet 10am at Blaxlands Crossing Recreational Reserve, Wallacia. The reserve is accessed off Silverdale Road. From there we will paddle up stream, exploring the rivers hidden places as it coils its way through native bush and farmlands. The paddle is approximately 2.5 hours long.
After getting back we will fire up the BBQ and have a casual lunch with post paddle beers. Each month we like to change it up between burgers, schitzels, suasage sizzles and the like. Any other dietary requirements can be taken care of. Just note it when you book your ticket.
10:00am-2:00pm. Easy.

**PLEASE NOTE: This is an event that has a number of complications including changing weather, peoples level of fitness and traffic changes. We try to stay as on time as possible but we may leave a little late or get back a little later. Our time frames can not be hard and fast so please allow extra time when booking.
