“The wardrobe is magic! Go in and there’s a wood inside. And a lamppost and faun and a forest where it’s snowing all the time…I’m not making it up.”
Join four ordinary children as they journey into the magical realm of Narnia. Have hot buttered toast, fairy cakes and marshmallows with Mr Tumnus, find new friends with the brave Mr and Mrs Beaver and see what magic lies behind the wardrobe doors.
But beware...all is not as it seems, here in a land where it’s always winter and never Christmas. It’s easy to fall under the spell of the White Witch.
Will Lucy, Peter and Susan be able to rescue their brother? Can they defeat the White Witch and bring summertime back to Narnia? Will Aslan ever return?
Brought to life on stage by the company of young artists at Marian St Theatre for Young People. Rediscover this timeless story of bravery, friendship and the power that children have to change our world.

ULIMATE SHOW PACKAGE
Want to see how the magic happens? Join us at 12pm each day for a Drama Workshop, which is held in our Drama Room, right beside the theatre foyer. It’s a great way for children to both enjoy the show, and then try doing it themselves! This is both seeing the magic of theatre, then creating it yourself after. Cost is $49 for children and $24 for Adults (includes the cost of the ticket for the show).
The workshop is taken by one of our Teaching Artists, and is a great way to Discover Drama. The workshop is limited to those aged 5 – 9 years, and has only 12 places available per day. For any enquiries about the workshop, please call the MSTYP office on: 9411 1800
Each thursday afternoon is a 'relaxed performance' which is an ideal environment for those with a disability to attend, or anyone who prefers a more relaxed environment. Lighting is left on, and you are very welcome to come and go from the theatre if you need.
